Getting Well

What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology is the practice of muscle testing, stemming from the principals of Chinese medicine Chiropractic techniques.

Using Kinesiology, muscles become monitors indicating stress and imbalance. By 'muscle monitoring', kinesiology is a versatile tool for identifying and correcting various imbalances in your body and therefore, in your life.

Kinesiology utilizes acupressure points, the meridians, colour and sound therapy, flower essences, guided imagery and/ or muscle stimulation.

Why Kinesiology

Kinesiology opens the mind and the spirit to get to the root cause of issues.

Kinesiology alleviates stress, pain and anxieties and can improve memory and learning capacity. It can permanently uproot habitual patterns and can detect allergies and nutritional deficiencies.

What can I expect?

Absolutely anyone can benefit from a Kinesiology session. A Kinesiology session can highlight any areas your body feels is imbalanced, in a non invasive and non threatening way.

You may be given essences, exercises or nutritional adjustments to assist your journey to optimum health and balance. A Kinesiology session will take 1-¼ hours, providing a safe and fast release of blockages or issues.

Nutrition

Imagine that you could find out what YOUR perfect diet entails. That way you could eat more of the foods that help you thrive and avoid the foods that leave you lethargic and unmotivated.

Nutrition is the act or process of nourishing or being nourished; the process of eating the right kind of food so you can grow properly and be healthy.

Kinesiology provides a vehicle for your body to talk. It provides a powerful method of asking your body exactly what it needs and how it wants to obtain it. Kinesiology can pinpoint nutritional deficiencies, allergies, food intolerances, determine heavy metal toxicity, parasites, candida and air-bone allergens. Kinesiology will then ask how your body how it wants to replace the nutrients or how it wants to rid the body of its toxins / parasites / candida.

Everybody is unique and every kinesiology sessions is tailored to just YOU.

Neuro Organsational Technique (NOT)

Neural Organisation Technique is the result of the integration of over 40 years experience in Chiropractic, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Cranio-Sacral Technique and Applied Kinesiology by Dr. Carl Ferreri. It is a systems-oriented approach to body structure and function.

Neural Organization Technique is a branch of Kinesiology that works through the central nervous system to restore structural, bio-chemical and emotional balance. This discipline works with neurological priority systems.

NOT is extremely powerful and incredibly effective in re-patterning and re-organising the nervous system, ADD / ADHD, learning difficulties, behavioural problems, birth trauma, dyslexia, allergies, adrenal stress, cranial injuries, immunity problems, hormonal problems, liver stress, and more.

Learning Enhancement Acupressure Program (LEAP)

LEAP is an effective and non-invasive brain integration technique for the correction of most learning difficulties in children and adults, developed by Charles T Krebs. LEAP helps to integrate the Gestalt and Logic functions of the brain and removes blocks to integration. LEAP addresses emotional and behavioural issues, takes the stress out of learning, and clears the primal emotional firing of the amygdala (basic fight/ flight/ fear/ anger responses).

"After only one session my 3 year old daughter went from being miserable, with emotional out-busts, to calm and more responsive. She just looked brighter. After 3 sessions she was less clumsy and more coordinated, she started to speak clearer and form sentences. She is even settling fast at night and sleeping through until morning. It is a miracle. Thank you."
